If you haven't already visited Marcel and
Donna's 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado within the Manitoba Pontiac Association's web site, please go there now. Read a few notes about this unbelievable car and some candid comments from both Marcel and Donna. This photo was taken as part of a major automobile show and provided us with yet another dash plaque to add to our ever growing collection (see the collection at the front of the car).

With a penchant for wanting the car's engine
compartment to be part of the overall vehicle display, Donna and I have spent hours
detailing the engine and its bay. The Toronado was Oldsmobile's first front wheel
drive automobile and the engine area shows off all of the details. This is NOT your
father's Oldsmobile! |

| In the Beginning ........ | |
| Have you ever wondered where some of the fine
vehicles that you see at various automobile shows had their beginnings? Apart from
the shiny cars on the showroom floor, every vehicle has its own lifestyle, dependent upon
the previous owners(s). This photo shows the sorry state of affairs that we found
the Toronado in ... before several years of loving care returned it back to its pristine
1966 condition.
